Day 1 - Part 2

Wow!  What an amazing start to The Thankfulness Experiment!  I’m so thankful you chose to join me on this journey.  As I reviewed each of your lists, I noticed some of you have a sense of humor that makes me smile… other comments reminded me to be thankful for the simple things in life.  And there were comments that brought tears to my eyes… knowing that some of you are thankful for things that were so tough to go through, and yet you choose to focus on the positive.  There is power in thanksgiving!

Please take time to review the comments – it’s so uplifting to see how much we have to be thankful for.  I’m going to wrap up today by adding five more things to our list.  I’m thankful for…

  1. The retweet my hubby sent out this morning that gave me a much needed belly laugh.
  2. My three year old being courageous and brave today and breaking free from fear.
  3. My 7 year old cleaning up the toy room even though his brother didn’t help him.
  4. Reading a book to my boys before bed in front of the fire (yes, we have a real fire crackling in the fireplace right now!) – with both boys snuggled next to me.
  5. Spontaneous hugs and kisses!!
Here’s to 10,000 reasons… only 9,867 more to go…

They give love, strength, unending prayer, and hugs for all who need it. What a blessing it is to be part of a group that has been together for over 20 years.
